If you are reading this, you’re probably interested in how you can attend New York Fashion Week! Many of the shows are for major brands and are invitation only for editors, buyers, stylists and other fashion industry players. And of course, some celebrities also attend.

But want to hear some good news? There are also some major brands that have now created opportunities for members of the public to attend NYFW.

Encouragingly, there are also those breaking down barriers in fashion by supporting the next generation of creators. Because of this, there are more and more opportunities to find emerging designers that inspire and appeal to you. Not only are there runway shows you can attend, but there are also many other events, including popup experiences, happening during fashion week that are open to the public. Again, space is often limited. But that’s why we’re here, to help you navigate the details!

The Starrett-Lehigh Building was the hosting venue for many of the official February 2024 NYFW events. For the official shows, we will confirm the September venue soon. Stay tuned on Instagram for unofficial show locations. Remember designers also host shows and events all across the City.

Fun Fact:

From 1993 to 2009, NYFW shows happened under white tents at Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan. Then, it was relocated farther uptown in 2010 to Lincoln Center until finally landing downtown at Spring Studios in 2015, and held there through September 2023. For the official February 2024 NYFW events, the official venue was the Starrett-Lehigh Building. Remember though, designers hold shows and events throughout the City.

September 2025 NYFW events are scheduled for September 6th-11th, 2025. More information to come as soon as the preliminary Official CFDA Calendar and NYFW Schedule are officially posted.

There are unofficial events which will take place as early as September 4th.

The Official February 2024 NYFW Schedule featured more than 70 confirmed designers, with additional collections presented digitally and by appointment.

Returning brands included 3.1 Phillip Lim, Altuzarra, Anna Sui, AnOnlyChild, Area, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Fforme, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu, Jonathan Cohen, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, Luar, Michael Kors, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Puppets & Puppets, Sandy Liang, Sergio Hudson, Theophilio, Tibi, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, and Willy Chavarria.

New York runway comebacks included Monse. Also Delpozo, which last showed at NYFW in September 2017, returned with an intimate presentation by appointment only, celebrating the brand’s 50-year anniversary. Lafayette 148 and Libertine also rejoined the Official NYFW Schedule for February.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin held his first-ever runway presentation outside of Paris on February 11.

The 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund runners-up Diotima and Zankov, and finalists Kim Shui and Tanner Fletcher presented collection showcases. The winner Melitta Baumeister debuted digitally.

The official schedule included Bishme Cromartie, Callas, Colleen Allen, Jane Wade, and Meruert Tolegen.

There were also emerging brands shown throughout some of the other events.
